SPAN 4160: Spanish for International Business II
- This assignment looks at Grains Abroad, an agricultural company deciding whether to stick with its traditional business model or try new ways to grow. Using Hofstede’s cultural dimensions, I explored how differences in Spanish and American business cultures affect the founders’ and their partner’s views on risk, leadership, and decision-making. The paper also suggests ways the company could balance tradition with innovation through market research, testing a new product, and learning more about each other’s cultures. Written in Spanish.

Based on this analysis, I developed recommendations for how Forever 21 could adapt its products, messaging, and marketing campaigns to better align with Spanish consumers and improve its chances of success in Spain.
